San Lorenzo Science School's History - How it all started
Mission
To nurture, support and maximize the full potential of each child , through a positive, proficient and interdisciplinary team, forged on sound academic program, moral discipline, fairness, justice and love of God, the Creator. One day, Mrs. Conchita Carino and her daughter, Donna was brainstorming a plan to put up a tutorial class. That plan became reality very soon and in fact affected positively. All students under the tutorial class, excelled in school. Seeing the success of their work, they dreamed bigger. In the year 1999 San Lorenzo Science School was born! Doctors, lawyers, bank managers and many more banged on the doors in the rush of enrolling their children. Students were truly molded intelligent as they were trained well with class work and extra-curricular activities such as drama presentations, Dance competitions, sports games, and much, much more enjoyable events.
For Years San Lorenzo Science School was just a pre-school, but was soon accepting Elementary students which lead to the steps of opening High School. Through the thirteen years of San Lorenzo Science School, we have reached many accomplishments, new friends, and great memories. We have ranked high in Division, Regional, and National Competitions, including, quiz bees, spelling bees, literary competitions, Sci-Dama and Dama, and of course, poster making and collage making contests. In school we have finished many striking performances in the past years which received astounding feedback starting with MULAN and INDAYOG, HAWAIIAN NIGHT, INTERNATIONAL DANCE NIGHT, MORE THAN A DREAM: THE CONCERT, WIZARD OF OZ, JOYLAND, and finally ALADDIN JR. Yes, San Lorenzo has gained many triumphs and to add to the list is the greatest of them all. Now SLSS has finally acquired its building and we are truly exuberant with joy! Viva San Lorenzo Science School! Forever you will live!

Via Public Conveyance
To reach San Lorenzo Science School from any point of the City of San Fernando, La Union, a tricycle ride can be made that will cost between Php10.00 to Php20.00 per person.
Via Private Transportation
There are two possible options to reach San Lorenzo Science School.
First, from the Unknown Soldier Monument (barangay Sevilla) at the intersection of MacArthur Highway and Pennsylvania Avenue, take Pennsylvania avenue heading Poro Point where Thunderbird Resort is situated. SLSS is about 2 kilometers from the Unknown Soldier Monument.
Second, from the town plaza, turn right at Ancheta street, then left at Mabini street through barangay Catbangen until Pennsylvania avenue. Take a right turn at Pennsylvania avenue and SLSS is about 500 meters from the turn.
